Threaded Fasteners, Inc., claims a unique and protected right to the phrase TIGHTEN UP and hereby orders the below contingencies. Threaded Fasteners, Inc. as the sole proprietor of the phrase TIGHTEN UP on local radio marketing claims exclusive ownership to this phrase and all uses of this phrase in perpetuity. It is not a part of the Threaded Fasteners, Inc culture to attack, and while our respect for Uncle Henry is abounding it is solely the in the interest of Threaded Fasteners, Inc to protect its intellectual property. TIGHTEN UP was conceived by our company President, Billy Duren, and has been hosted by the brilliant Randy Kennedy for some years. President Billy Duren's vision and goals were carried out on the local and regional airwaves and via the internet globally using the talented voice and renowned brilliance of Randy Kennedy. Randy Kennedy has been creating and producing a TIGHTEN UP radio segment discussing important and enlightening sports topics and our fastener company for over 3 years. Accordingly, we hereby express the unique and protected right of Threaded Fasteners, Inc. to the signature marketing phrase TIGHTEN UP.

Without waiving any of the foregoing rights, Threaded Fasteners, Inc. does hereby grant to you, “Uncle Henry", unlimited privileges to borrow our phrase and the privilege of joining the TIGHTEN UP TEAM. You as a member of the TIGHTEN UP TEAM may use TIGHTEN UP on air to discuss and promote our great, locally based company which started right here in Mobile in 1979. You may discuss our quality products and legendary service. You may also elaborate on our good deeds and funding for local and national charities including Team Focus. You may also regularly employ the phrase TIGHTEN UP when telling your listeners how much you admire and respect Randy Kennedy.
