VIDEO: Stalking Suspect Calls The Police To Complain About His Victim's Dad

A man in Lenoir City, Tennessee called police to complain about a threat from the father of a girl he had been stalking (allegedly). The video (which he posted to his YouTube channel) made the rounds on Twitter for a day or two before the guy was finally arrested.

The Daily Beast has the details. In the video we hear 25-year-old Jacob Yerkes tell two police officers about what's been going on and what led him to call them out. He explains that he showed up at Cracker Barrel looking to play a song for a girl he used to work with and that she drove off. He says he chased her for a couple of blocks because he really wanted her to hear the song, and he felt like she kind of wanted him chasing her. Yerkes goes on to say that her father called him and threatened his life and he just thinks they should have his name on file. He then explains that women like to be chased and that most of them have rape fantasies. He also references BDSM porn to explain his thought process. He continues to argue with the police, at one point stating that he is a man and has needs himself. The conversation doesn't go well, but the officers let him go in the moment.

Discussion of the videos on social media led to an FBI investigation, and eventually to his arrest for making unsolicited contact with a co-worker. He is now facing charges for stalking and harassment and local police say that more charges are possible.
