The National Hurricane Center just announced Tropical Storm Alberto has formed over the Western Gulf of Mexico. On the forecast track, the center of Alberto will reach the coast of northeastern Mexico early Thursday morning.
Texas is now bracing for a Tropical Storm. Coastal towns in southern Texas are being urged to prepare for heavy rain, flooding and possible tornadoes Wednesday and Thursday.
