The verbiage changed with the 4pm update from the National Hurricane Center.
Instead of "a major hurricane," the update says "Ida is expected to be an extremely dangerous major hurricane when it approaches the northern Gulf coast on Sunday."
The cone is narrowing, which you can tell from the warnings and watches issued.
