AL Sales Tax Holiday for Severe Weather Feb 26-28


With a very busy 2020 Hurricane Season in our rearview mirror, it's time to look ahead to the season that starts June 1st, as well as preparing for tornado season.

Think about things you WISHED you had last Hurricane Season, or supplies that you've used up and need to replace. This weekend is a good time to do that.

2021 SEVERE WEATHER PREPAREDNESS SALES TAX HOLIDAY

Alabama will hold its 10th annual Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday, beginning Friday, February 26, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. and ending Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 12 midnight, giving shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain severe weather preparedness items free of state sales tax.

Local sales tax may apply.
