‘Faithkeepers’ documentary shows Christian minorities being persecuted in the Middle East

Christians and other religious minorities in the Middle East face violence, persecution and even genocide for their beliefs. “Faithkeepers,” a new documentary film from the Clarion Project, captures their stories and exposes this humanitarian crisis to the rest of the world.

Ryan Mauro, associate producer for “Faithkeepers,” joined Glenn on today’s show to talk about the new documentary and why the world needs to see it. Whether you’re a Christian, a Muslim, a Jew or an atheist, you should care about religious persecution. People of faith who are in the minority have been persecuted throughout history.

“What was so important about that was to show that history is repeating itself even if the victim is a little bit different … they’re all in the same boat and facing the same type of genocidal enemy,” Mauro said.

You can watch “Faithkeepers” at 6 p.m. EST tonight on TheBlaze TV.
