11th Annual DAUPHIN ISLAND ART TRAIL- Sat 9am-4pm, Cadillac Square Park, Dauphin Island

Instead of the scavenger-hunt across the Island, this year all 80 artists and vendors will be set up under the trees at Cadillac Square Park. Visitors will still collect map stamps at different stations for a chance to win incredible prizes like deep sea fishing trips, condo stays, original artwork, and more! 52nd Annual NATIONAL SHRIMP FESTIVAL- Thurs/Fri/Sat 10am-10pm; Sun 10am-5pm; Hwy 59 at East Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores

What started as a celebration of the seafood industry has grown into a four day vacation destination. Since 1971, the Shrimp Festival has been FREE to attend, overlooking the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores. 15th Annual SOUTH ALABAMA OUT OF THE DARKNESS WALK - Sun 1pm-4pm, Daphne City Hall

Join the Out of the Darkness Community Walk to raise awareness, support one another, honor and remember loved ones, and to fund critical efforts by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to protect mental health and prevent suicide. There will be resource tables, a Memory Wall, live music and a leisurely 2 mile stroll through Olde Town Daphne.  CLICK HERE

It’s the cheesiest night in Downtown Mobile! Up to 20 creative cooking teams—split into Non-Restaurant and Restaurant categories—will serve up their most delicious and inventive spins on everyone’s favorite cheesy sandwich. MOBILE CELEBRATE NAVY’S 250TH BIRTHDAY- Sun 5:30pm, Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile

The Mobile Council of the Navy League will celebrate the Navy’s 250th Birthday this Sunday. The planned schedule of events includes a flyover by Navy aircraft, a Navy re-enlistment ceremony, entertainment, a seated banquet, birthday cake, and traditional Navy toasts. Thousands of classic cars converge on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for an entire week every October with rock 'n' roll, sock hops, swap meets and headline entertainment all along the Gulf Coast. CLICK HERE   

CINEMAS IN THE SAND: BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE- Fri at sunset, Gulfside Pavilion, Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach

Presented by the Santa Rosa Island Authority, locals and visitors alike are invited to gather under the stars, feel the sand between their toes, and enjoy timeless movie classics against the breathtaking backdrop of the Gulf.

All movies are free to the public and will start at sunset on a giant outdoor movie screen in front of the Gulfside Pavilion stage, weather permitting. CLICK HERE

MOBILE SYMPHONY presents METAMORPHOSIS- Sat 7:30pm, Sun 2:30pm, Mobile Saenger Theatre

This concert takes its title from Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber. It ends with the monumental and triumphant Symphony No. 1 by Brahms.   CLICK HERE
