BALDWIN COUNTY STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL - Sat/Sun 9am-5pm, Loxley Municipal Park

Every year, visitors come from all around the Southeast to enjoy the car show, carnival, music, crafts and, of course, the strawberry shortcakes! Funds raised benefit Loxley Elementary School and the ARC Baldwin County, Inc. MOBILE CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL- Sat 10am-3pm, The Grounds, West Mobile

GUMBO YA YA COOK-OFF - Sat 4pm-6pm, Seville Quarter, downtown Pensacola

Amateur and professional teams will compete for bragging rights for the best Gumbo in Pensacola. Each individual gumbo will be judged on taste, smell, color, and consistency. All proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. CLICK HERE

This event features a diverse mix of food trucks featuring their signature dishes, live music and entertainment all weekend, a Food Truck Tasting Competition, and more! EASTER EGG HUNTS ON THE GREAT LAWN- Sat 9am-12 noon, Great Lawn, Bellingrath Gardens, Theodore

Hop on down to the Gardens and join us for some “eggstra” special Easter fun! Thousands of Easter eggs will be scattered across the lawn for children to gather and then exchange for treats! There will be special hunts for different age groups starting at 9am, as well as prizes, candy and “eggtivities,” which makes this a perfect family outing. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your child’s Easter Egg Hunt to allow plenty of time to walk from the Entrance Building to the Great Lawn. This unbelievable teatime experience will spotlight a family-friendly live show with an outrageous cast of characters straight out of Wonderland!

Moving Day is a fun-filled family friendly morning of music, activities, resource sharing, community building and a brief walk for Parkinson's patients, caregivers, family, friends, and the healthcare community here on the Gulf Coast. Joining dozens of cities across the state, Visit Mobile has put together free walking tours every Saturday in April for locals and visitors alike. Tours will begin at 10 a.m. each Saturday, departing from the Visit Mobile Welcome Center in downtown Mobile.

CREPE MYRTLE TRAIL RIDE with MOBILE UNITED- Sat 8am, Arlington Park, Mobile

Mobile United’s Natural Resource Task Force organized the inaugural ride in 2014 in an effort to draw awareness to the proposed Crepe Myrtle Bike and Pedestrian Trail. The Crepe Myrtle Trail is an integral part of the Mobile Greenway Initiative, a multi-use waterfront trail stretching from the University of South Alabama and Langan Park, along Three Mile Creek south to Dog River and eventually, Dauphin Island.
