Ring in this highly-anticipated new year in downtown Mobile with a giant electronic MoonPie dropping as New Orleans legend, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue bring the funk! Early evening festivities include a resolution wall, the cutting of the world’s largest, edible MoonPie, baked by Chattanooga Bakery, and a second line parade led by the Port City Secondliners and the Jukebox Brass Band. POLAR BEAR PLUNGE- Sat Jan 1st, 2pm, Paradise Bar & Grill, Pensacola Beach

Wash off 2021 with our Polar Bear Plunge!Hundreds of dippers and spectators – many dressed in costume – flock to the beach to participate in this long-established tradition.Registration begins at noon and the fee is $15 cash per person and participants will receive a Polar Bear Plunge t-shirt or a $10 registration donation to participate without the t-shirt and $5 Cub Club for ages fifth grade and under (no shirt). All proceeds go to the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce to fund events on the Island. CLICK HERE
