30th Annual AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CHILI COOKOFF- Sat 11am-3pm, Mardi Gras Park, downtown Mobile

Chili Cookoff is a four-hour fun-filled day of great food and live entertainment where teams compete to find out who can cook-up the best chili in the community. ***Look for the iHeart Team, next to the stage!!*** Enjoy live music from Delta Smoke, Jesh Yancey & the High Hopes, and the Coastal Alabama Sun Chief Show Band. 10th Annual LITTLE BLACK DRESS - Thurs 6:30pm, Fort Whiting, Mobile

Fifty local area “McModels” will be featured in this fast-paced runway show in fashions styled by Dillard’s. Paired with the runway show, the cocktail party will feature Mobile’s top area chefs and restaurants with exceptional food and refreshing beverage offerings. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile. AUBREIGH’S ARMY FOUNDATION LEMON FACE GALA- Thurs 6pm, GulfQuest Maritime Museum, downtown Mobile

On her 11th birthday, March 28, 2018, Aubreigh started the Lemon Face Challenge to bring awareness to the monster called DIPG, the deadliest form of childhood cancer. Aubreigh passed away in August, but the Foundation continues her fight with a celebration on what would have been Aubreigh’s 12th birthday. PENSACOLA CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL- Sat 12noon-1pm (VIP); 1pm-3pm (Gen Admission), Cordova Mall, Pensacola

Join the Gulf Coast Kid’s House for Chocolate Fest 2019, at Cordova Mall, for the 16th annual chocolate lover’s extravaganza. Attendees may purchase a VIP ticket for $25 for exclusive access from 12 – 1 pm or a General Admission ticket for $15 and attend from 1-3 pm. CLICK HERE 

MOBILE CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL- Sat 10am-4pm, The Grounds, west Mobile

ELBERTA GERMAN SAUSAGE FESTIVAL- Sat 8am-5pm, Elberta Town Park

This bi-annual fundraiser benefits the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department. The fire department sells nearly 7,000 pounds of sausage… plus there are other German dishes available. Enjoy live music and over 100 arts and crafts vendors. Admission is FREE! CLICK HERE 

3rd Annual SMOKE ‘EM IF YOU GOT ‘EM BBQ COOKOFF- Sat 2pm-10pm, Fairhope Civic Center

There will be food, drinks, family fun, and the event will end that evening with a concert by the Velcro Pygmies. Tickets are $30 and available from any fire fighter, at the Ingleside Fire Station or at the door. Proceeds will be used to fund equipment to keep the fire stations and volunteers safe and prepared. DAUPHIN ISLAND NATIVE AMERICAN FESTIVAL- Sat 9am-5pm, Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island

A celebration of the cultures that existed in the Alabama coastal region in the 1700s through the early 1800s, the festival will feature live storytelling and hands-on demonstrations of Native American food , recreational activities, and arts and crafts. CLICK HERE 

JUAN SEBASTIAN DE ELCANO RETURNS- Sun 3pm-6:30pm (plus Tues-Thurs 10am-1pm and 3pm-6:30pm), Plaza de Luna, downtown Pensacola

The Spanish Royal Navy tall ship Juan Sebastian de Elcano will be the Elcano's eighth visit to the city since its first in 1959. CLICK HERE
