MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER WALK- Sat 6:45am (Registration); 8:00am (Walk), Bienville Square, downtown Mobile

Put on something pink and join us in the fight against breast cancer, with the American Cancer Society.  This 3 and a half mile walk brings people together to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer.  CLICK HERE

Woofstock is changing locations this year, taking over the grounds of Serda Brewing Co. - a full city block and will have activities for ALL ages. THRILLER NIGHTS OF LIGHTS -  Every night (rain or shine) through Oct 31, 7pm-10pm, Hank Aaron Stadium, Mobile

Thriller Nights of Lights is a family-friendly drive-thru light show synchronized to music playing through your car radio. Displays of giant spiders, spooky eyes, friendly ghosts, and tumbling scarecrows are just a few of the displays to see dancing to a fun variety of music.  CLICK HERE   


GREATER GULF STATE FAIRFri Oct 26- Sun Nov 4, The Grounds, west Mobile

Get your best witch costume together and hop on your broom (aka your bicycle -decorate that too!) for a 3-mile, easy paced bike parade around downtown Mobile and DeTonti Square. The fun will end in a fabulous block party with music, libations, and food available from local food trucks and The Blind Mule.  Proceeds benefit Delta Dogs  a local non-profit that provides free spay/neuter and veterinary care to the pets of Mobile's community in need.  CLICK HERE

This year’s Town of Terror theme is Circus Asylum. They came, they performed… and they never left. These forgotten acts have become possessed and taken over Downtown OWA. 

(There’s a “No Boo” Behind-the-Scenes Tour, a one-time “lights on” experience to learn the history of Town of Terror from 5-6pm ONLY every weekend in October.)

For the second year in a row, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Pensacola Little Theatre are teaming up to present Field of Screams, Terror Under the Stadium! On designated nights in October, two tours will take place under the stadium, one tailored to children and families, the other for adults only. Attendees will face off against their deepest fears as they travel the tunnels of Blue Wahoos Stadium.  CLICK HERE

For centuries Mobile has been home to pirates, vagabonds, miscreants, soldiers, and ladies of the night. While their bodies may be gone their souls remain.
