BLUE ANGELS BILOXI AIRSHOWSat/Sun 11am-4:30pm (site opens at 9am), Harrah’s Casino Great Lawn, Biloxi

You’ll be able to see the Blue Angels practicing Friday along the beachfront.  Saturday and Sunday, the best views will be from Harrah’s Great Lawn, the Biloxi Bay Bridge Walkway and from boats in the MS Sound (though you can expect the Coast Guard to enforce some restricted areas.) There’s no admission charge to watch the show, but Harrah’s is offering a VIP area with seating, shade, water and private restrooms on the Great Lawn for a fee.As for parking, lots that have been vacant since Katrina will provide space up and down Hwy 90, and you can expect property owners to sell spaces. CLICK HERE

ALABAMA DEEP SEA FISHING RODEOThurs 6pm Liars Contest;  Fri-Sun Fishing Rodeo, Dauphin Island Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Site

The 85th Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo is a project of the Mobile Jaycees.  The ADSFR was approved by Guinness World Records in 2011 as the World’s Largest Fishing Tournament.  Festivities begin with the Liars Contest Thursday night, then fishing starts at 5am Friday.  CLICK HERE

RUNNING OF THE BULLSSat 9am (registration 7:30-8:30am), Seville Quarter, downtown Pensacola

This is like the Running of the Bulls in Spain, but with one big difference. The “bulls” are roller derby girls wearing horns armed with wiffleball bats. Proceeds benefit USO Northwest Florida.  CLICK HERE

SAENGER SUMMER CLASSIC MOVIE SERIES: TOP GUNSun 3pm, Mobile Saenger Theatre

This summer, the Saenger will again showcase classic hit movies the way they were meant to be seen: larger-than-life on the glorious BIG screen! Mobile Fire-Rescue Department continues its summer-long fun with another Friday at the Firehouse. This Friday, Station 23 will open its doors to welcome the public for an open house style gathering to meet and greet the crews, tour the station, and learn more about the City of Mobile's fire department.
