PENSACOLA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA presents MUSIC FOR FAMILIES- Sat 9:30am (concert at 11am), Pensacola Saenger Theatre
Children will have the opportunity to touch and play instruments through the instrument petting zoo, participate in arts and crafts and learn the science of sound at the pre-concert activities that begin at 9:30 a.m. A special one-hour concert featuring the music of Star Wars, Beauty and the Beast and a variety of composers will take place at 11 a.m. CLICK HERE
ALABAMA’S 14th Annual BLUE STAR SALUTE- Sat 7am-1:30pm, USS Alabama Battleship Park
Come spend Armed Forces Day at Battleship Memorial Park as we celebrate the military during the state of Alabama’s Blue Star Salute celebration. Events include a 5K Memorial Run/Walk, the Alabama 151st Army Band concert, Blue Star Salute, Silver Wings jump team, Gold Star Memorial Service and more.

This evening on the farm features blueberry picking, a vendors market, food trucks, live music performance by Gove Scrivenor, local artisans, kids activities and more! It’s a fun night for the entire family. Bring your blankets, chairs, BYOB and plan on spending the evening stocking up on organic blueberries, enjoying farm-to-table treats, watching the kids have a blast and listening to some amazing music under the stars. 4th Annual LIONFISH REMOVAL & AWARENESS DAY- Sat 9am-6pm, Sun 9am-5pm, Flora-Bama Ole River Grill, Perdido Key
Hosted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Coast Watch Alliance. The festival is free to the public and includes activities such as lionfish tastings prepared by celebrity chefs, fillet demonstrations, and family friendly activities. Gulf Breeze Optimist Club Fishing Rodeo is a wholesome way to spend the day and possibly take home a $1,000 grand prize! Kids under 9 are free with paid adult. ORANGE BEACH BILLFISH TOURNAMENT- Fri/Sat, The Wharf, Orange Beach
The Orange Beach Billfish Classic kicks off the 2018 Gulf Coast tournament fishing season and is the first of the five tournaments along the coast qualifying for the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Series. Weigh-ins are open to the public. CLICK HERE

The Big Scoop offers as much of the sweet dairy treat as you can eat! Attendees can choose from an assortment of ice cream flavors and enjoy games and activities. The bus is unloaded for the night and everyone is at their favorite bed & breakfast in Mobile. They discuss the events of the day while the body of poor Harry Driver, the Group Leader, lies in the back parlor. Did he over-indulge on BBQ? Or was it murder?
