Jenna Woodworth, a 30-year-old lunch lady at East Central High School in San Antonio, Texas, was arrested on Thursday (May 8) for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student. Prosecutors have accused Woodworth of engaging in sexual activities with the student on multiple occasions inside a school closet.

The inappropriate relationship came to light when police began investigating the allegations on Wednesday (May 7). Both Woodworth and the student admitted to the relationship during police interviews. The student revealed that Woodworth allegedly picked him up in a district vehicle from a stadium parking lot and drove him back to the school, where they entered through an employee-only entrance.

Following Woodworth's arrest, school staff discovered a photo of the student in her work locker. Woodworth, who had been employed with the school's nutrition department since 2011, was terminated immediately after the incident was reported. The school district informed parents of the arrest and assured them that "immediate and decisive action" was taken to protect students and maintain the integrity of the school.

Woodworth was charged with a second-degree felony for having an improper relationship between an educator and a student. She was booked into the Bexar County Jail and released on bail set at $50,000. The student's family has been notified, and Child Protective Services is involved in the ongoing investigation.
