Pool Etiquette During the Pandemic

The CDC is out with new guidelines for public swimming pools, just before the Memorial Day weekend.

The CDC says pool operators should encourage people to wear masks when they're not in the pool. And they set out guidelines for cleaning and disinfection of everything from slides to pool noodles.

The guidelines say seating areas should be six feet apart and swimmers should stay six feet away from others.

The CDC says parents should consider whether their children can stay six feet away from people they don't live with and, if not, don't take the kids to the pool.
