Vanessa Bryant Asks Judge To Amend Kobe's Trust

Vanessa Bryant has asked a judge to amend her late husband Kobe Bryant's trust.

According to TMZ, V wants the trust amended to include the youngest of their four children, daughter Capri, who was born after the most recent trust document was drafted and signed.

As shown in the legal documents, which were obtained by TMZ Sports, Kobe first created a trust to provide for Vanessa and their children in 2003. Over the years, it was amended several times, most recently in 2017. And while the late athlete appeared to amend the trust every time he and Vanessa welcomed a child, Capri was only born nine months ago. No one could have predicted the death of Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter Gigi, who were among the nine victims in a tragic helicopter crash in January.

Vanessa is asking the judge to include Capri, under the grounds that it was Kobe's intent to provide for his children, which he even states in one on the documents, TMZ reports. According to the trust agreement, Vanessa, Natalia and Bianka can "draw from the principal and income in the trust during Vanessa's lifetime, and then her kids get the remainder upon her death. Vanessa wants to include Capri in that distribution," according to the outlet.

A judge will likely grant the amendment, TMZ reports.
