Flu cases on the rise in MS.

State health officials report cases of the flu in Mississippi continue to be on the rise. And with classes set to adjourn for the Christmas break, doctors across the state are predicting those numbers could go even higher. Dr. Josh Black of OCH Medical in Starkville, said that with children and families spending more time in group settings over the holidays, there will also be increased opportunity to spread germs. Black advises the best way to avoid getting the flu is to get vaccinated, washing your hands and covering your mouth when you cough.
