Was the moon landing a hoax?

It's one of the oldest running conspiracy theories.  The belief that we never really landed on the moon.  But it's still a bit stunning when you hear a high profile personality make the claim:

NASA is offering to show NBA superstar Steph Curry evidence that men really have landed and walked on the moon.  The space agency made the invitation Monday after the Golden State Warriors guard said he didn't believe the U.S. successfully landed a man on the moon.  A NASA spokesman said, the next time the Warriors are in Houston to play the rockets, Curry could tour the Johnson Space Center.  NASA says Curry could see some of the hundreds of pounds of moon rocks stored there, along with the Apollo mission control.  U.S. astronauts landed on the moon six times between 1969 and '72.  Curry expressed his doubt on the recent NBA podcast Winging It.

I'm filing the Curry comment in the "You can't make this stuff up" area of my head.

Or are you onboard with what he says?
