Alabama Woman Survives 28 Days In The Wild

WPMI reports that a woman ran from two men who were burglarizing a hunting camp site in Bullock County. She soon found herself lost in running away from the burglars. She was lost for 28 days.

Lisa Theris survived by drinking water from a brook and mushroom and berries from the woods. And Bullock County Sheriff Buck Rodgers says her sheer will to survive got her through.

The two men who burglarized the hunting site are still in custody.

Theris lost 50 pounds while surviving in the wild.
