Pensacola Blue Wahoo's Pitch Perfect Game Saturday

Pensacola Blue Wahoo's pitched a perfect game against the Mobile Bay Bears (1-0) Saturday night.

Tyler Mahle was the Blue Wahoo pitcher who acquired the Southern League's first perfect game in 47 years.

Mahle (4-0) needed just 88 pitches to get 27 straight outs against the BayBears (7-9).

Also Saturday was not the first no-hitter of Mahle's career. The 22-year-old pitched a no-no for High-A Daytona last June.
