Gov. Bentley made an announcement April 7 at 8:30 AM that he will not resign.
He admits that he has struggled over the years, but "last year that he recognized and realized that he couldn't bear these burdens alone". He asked God to take these struggles last May and to help carry those burdens. He says he found freedom in that and he gave all himself to God.
He's worked hard to reconcile with his family and asks that the character assassinations stop. He also says in the announcement that they will not help meet a single budget or pass a single law.
What do you think of his message? Are you still wanting to see him resign?
