Mobile Teen Ticketed OTW To Prom For Going 127 MPH

A Mobile teen was ticketed last Friday for traveling 127 MPH on Interstate 10. He was not arrested, but was given a ticket by Mobile Police Officer Timothy Freeman, and will face a judge.

MPD took this opportunity to remind parents to talk to their driving teens about the responsibility they have behind the steering wheel. "The talk will keep them alive --preventing speed-related traffic fatalities."

I'd just like to say when I went to prom, my 1984 Cutlass Ciara had trouble getting up to 60 MPH. I think the real story here is don't give teens automobiles they can't handle... But that's just this editor's opinion.
