MEN’S FINAL FOUR WATCH PARTY - Sat 3pm-8:30pm, Sage Park, Mobile

Join the City of Mobile Parks and Recreation Department for the 2024 Men's Final Four Watch Party! Watch on a 23-foot LED Screen that will be set up near the basketball court at Herndon-Sage Park. The game will start at 5:09 PM! This year, we've also added a 3 on 3 basketball tournament!

BOAT SHOW ON THE BAY- Fri 12 noon-6pm; Sat 9am-6pm; Sun 9am-5pm, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile

PENSACOLA JAZZ FEST- Sat/Sun 10am-7pm, Seville Square, Downtown Pensacola

Dedicated to advancing jazz music in Pensacola and along the Gulf Coast, Jazz Pensacola hosts its 41st JazzFest! This two-day hallmark event in the Spring brings the community together to celebrate the season and enjoy a variety of live jazz music from local and regional talents. The weekend event is FREE unless you prefer prime seating, snacks, and a designated restroom as a VIP. CLICK HERE

SPRING MOVIES IN THE PARK: BARBIE- Thurs 6pm, James Seals Community Center & Park, 540 Texas St

Join the City of Mobile Parks & Recreation Department for Movies in the Park this spring! This is a free event in which you can hang out, play games, snack, and watch movies with us. Movies in the Park includes screenings of eight different movies in four different parks and community centers. SPRING FLING COMEDY SHOW & MUSIC FESTIVAL- Fri/Sat 6pm-10pm, The Grounds, West Mobile

Friday night, it’s The Spring Fling Comedy Show starring Cedric The Entertainer with Rickey Smiley, Earthquake and more. Saturday, it’s The Spring Fling Music Festival starring Frankie Beverly ft. SERVE IT UP WITH LOVE - Sun 2pm; Tues 9am & 6pm, Mobile Tennis Center

The Serve It Up With Love Tennis Tournament is the largest USTA-sanctioned charity tennis tournament in Alabama and won the USTA Alabama Charity Event of the Year Award in 2012 and 2021! Men's, women's, and junior tournaments will be featured during this two-day tournament. The tournament raises much-needed funds to benefit the Mobile Child Advocacy Center.  CLICK HERE

BUNNY HOP 5K & FUN RUN- Sat 8:30am, Main Street, The Wharf, Orange Beach

The Pleasure Island Junior Woman’s Club is hosting the 13th annual Bunny Hop 5K + Fun Run in memory of Ann Reese Grote. Proceeds will benefit the Ann Reese Grote Memorial Scholarship, which is given to a graduating senior at Gulf Shores High School and Orange Beach High School who is committed to service within their community.  CLICK HERE 

 

DISCOVERY DAY - Sat 10am-2pm, Dauphin Island Sea Lab

The annual labwide open house is a free event that is open to the public. Hands-on science lessons showcase the research and outreach activities at the Sea Lab year-round. Mozart’s final work is a breath-taking choral masterpiece loved the world over. This massive work explores both life and death. The concert also includes Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture and Tchaikovsky’s Suite No. 4 “Mozartiana,” the Russian master’s own tribute to Mozart. CLICK HERE

The City of Gulf Shores is thrilled to announce the Waterway Village Series, a FREE sixconcert series taking place this spring at East 24th Avenue. Residents and guests are invited to come out and enjoy

live music every Thursday at 5:30 p.m., beginning March 7 and continuing through April 11. Food trucks will be onsite at each event, and the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will be selling beverages for all ages to enjoy.
